Born into a family deeply rooted in music, she developed a connection with Indian classical music from an early age and continues to carry forward this rich musical tradition through performance and teaching.

Trained in the prestigious Gwalior Gharana, Heena has built a strong foundation in the traditions and techniques of Hindustani Classical Vocal Music. Her musical journey reflects a deep appreciation for classical compositions, disciplined vocal training, and the Guru-Shishya tradition that forms the foundation of Indian classical music.

Alongside being a vocalist, Heena is passionate about music education and vocal training. She currently serves as a Music Teacher at GD Goenka School, where she introduces young learners to music and helps them develop their vocal abilities, musical understanding, and confidence.

Heena is also the Founder of Swar Malhar, an initiative through which she shares her knowledge and passion for music while encouraging students and enthusiasts to discover the depth and beauty of Hindustani classical singing.
